DESC SELECTS XIO FOR PUBLIC AFFAIRS CONTRACT

XIO recently began work on a contract with the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) Public Affairs Office for communications and marketing support. The contract with DESC includes a variety of Public Affairs requirements such as drafting articles, responding to media enquiries, evaluating and managing DESC’s website, and helping to prepare for the 2009 Asia-Pacific Clean Energy Summit and Expo. We are proud to announce that the General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded XIO with an Advertising and Integrated Marketing Solutions (AIMS) Schedule 541 contract. XIO ON WINNING AIT-IV TEAM

In partnership with prime contractor Northrop Grumman, XIO was among the firms selected to provide automatic identification technology (AIT) consulting services to the Department of Defense (DoD) under the AIT-IV contract, a multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The team will supply AIT hardware, software and engineering services for increased functionality, visibility and control across the DoD and federal agency logistics systems.

In addition to XIO, Northrop Grumman's teammates include Williams Software Associates, Onyx Government Services, CYTEC Software Systems, Evanhoe and Associates, and Motorola.
